While at a Christmas party 10 years ago, Sylvia experienced Salsa first hand and immediately fell in love with the dance and music. The following week she started taking classes in Derry with Sabroso and has been dancing ever since. She has travelled extensively to develop her dance style and for the last five years she has been teaching with Salsa Ireland. She is currently an administrator, dance teacher and DJ. Sylvia is extremely passionate about dancing and teaching and believes that we never stop learning. To become a good dancer she says you must listen to the music, dance with your partner and most importantly, have fun!!.
